This dataset contains measurements of dimethyl sulfide (DMS) and methanethiol (MeSH) acquired using a Proton Transfer Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (PTR-ToF-MS) during the RV Investigator voyage IN2024_V01. The voyage, titled “Multidisciplinary Investigations of the Southern Ocean (MISO): linking physics, biogeochemistry, plankton, aerosols, clouds, and climate,” took place from 2 January to 5 March 2024 (AEST), departing Hobart and returning to Fremantle. These data provide key observations of trace gases in the Southern Ocean atmosphere, supporting studies of biogeochemical cycling, climate interactions, and ocean-atmosphere processes.
