This dataset contains the processed Dissolved Oxygen Sensor data collected on Franklin voyage FR 02/97. The voyage took place in the Victorian and eastern South Australian coastal waters during 24 January - 4 February 1997. This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available). The Dissolved Oxygen measurements from this sensor (mounted on the CTD apparatus) are calibrated against dissolved oxygen measurements from Niskin Bottle samples taken on the same CTD cast. Where present, the Dissolved Oxygen Data are included within the relevant CTD dataset for archiving and/or download.

The voyage took place in the Tasman Sea, Southern Ocean and Bass Strait during 21-30 March 1997. This dataset currently exists as raw data only, and will be available from the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart once processing has been completed. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available). The CMAR Data Warehouse is an spatially enabled Oracle data repository which contains survey underway, CTD data, hydrological (bottle sample) data, biological catch data from Divisional research vessels, and data from other sources as presently held in the Division's archive. There are GIS layers covering a range of themes obtained from WA agencies and Industry for use in the NWSJEMS project available only to NWSJEMS researchers. Moored instrument data from CMAR research deployments contain currents for various ocean regions. On-line access to this data is usually with the CMAR Data Trawler (see Marlin record 6389), a Java application developed under the auspices of the North West Shelf Joint Environmental Management Study (NWSJEMS) and the CMAR Data Centre. Public users have only limited access to Warehouse content.
