Multibeam echosounder data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage 04/2007 using the Simrad EM300 multibeam echosounder to acquire high resolution seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information. This voyage took place off Western Australia during May and June 2007. Ping rate varied according to depth. Data are stored in Simrad *.all raw format at CMAR and Geoscience Australia (GA). There are 504 files totalling 14.3 GB of raw data in this dataset. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available).

  • This dataset contains the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage SS 04/2007. The voyage took place along the Western Australian coast from 10 May to 6 June 2007. This dataset has been processed and archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available).

  • This dataset contains the Hydrology (HYD) data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage SS 04/2007. The voyage took place off the coast of Western Australia from 10 May to 6 June 2007. This dataset is archived within the CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report. Southern Surveyor on-voyage hydrology data are typically obtained from water samples collected in Niskin bottles at various depths during each CTD cast. Parameters measured normally comprise temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, nitrate, silicate, and nitrite. Nutrient only .csv data link added 13/02/2014. Salinity and oxygen processed in June 2015 and Hypro was used to collate the deployment, nutrients, oxygen and salinity data and report it in the 2015 format including nc files. File data links added 16th June 2015. Missing ctd temperature data for deployment 32 and 39 was identified. Received updated .nc files for deployment 32 and 39 including a new .csv file. File data links updated on 22 June 2015. NOTE: Further updated Hydro files received. All files reprocessed using the same version of Hypro 3.12. Updated csv file: Deployment 28 - Corrected data from 22/6 with incorrect Lat/Long, bottom depth and pressure entries. Checked against CTDLogSheets.pdf, s0704Aux.csv, ss2007_v04028.xml files. Deployment 68 RP14 entry removed (no data was in this entry). Updated nc files: Differences between the nc files and csv removed. File data links updated 6/7/2015.

  • This dataset contains the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage SS 04/2007. The voyage took place in West Australian coastal waters 10 May to 6 June 2007. This dataset has been processed and archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the Voyage Summary and the Data Processing Report.

  • This dataset contains the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) data collected using the towed profiling SeaSoar platform on Southern Surveyor voyage SS 04/2007. The voyage took place along the coast of Western Australia 10 May to 6 June 2007. This dataset has been processed and archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset may be contained in the Voyage Summary and the Data Processing Report (as available).

  • This dataset contains the Underway (UWY) data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage SS 04/2007. The voyage took place along the coast of Western Australia 10 May to 6 June 2007. This dataset has been processed and archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset may be contained in the voyage plan and voyage summary. The standard Underway (=continuously recorded) dataset from a research voyage includes Navigation (NAV), Sounder, Thermosalinograph (TSG) and Meteorological (MET) data. NAV data includes GPS (Global Positioning System) measurements of latitude, longitude, ship's direction and speed. MET data includes atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure, wind speed and direction, and incident radiation intensity. Data are recorded at 10 second intervals.
